🗒️[Glossary] Configuration

The prefix con- stands for ‘together’ in Latin. And figere, stands for ‘to join’, ‘to fasten’, 'to construct'. A ‘figure’ is something ‘joined’ or 'constructed' 😉. And a configuration is therefore something ‘joined together’, or more precisely, the process of joining.

In a configuration, I combine individual components to form something larger.
